cut off twice, like the key was turned off once at 70 mph and once at 45 mph it sputtered slightly one time pulled off the road and restarted immediately no check engine lite had a history code for catalytic inefficiency

intermittent electrical failures are one of the hardest problems to track down. you need a good electrical shop you can drop your off too and allow them to keep the car till the problem happens so they can determine the route to take for the repair. use our shop locator at the top of the page to find a shop near you. Mine did the same thing and turned out to be the crankshaft postion sensor. I think it was a 20 or 30 dollar part at the zone.
