sounds like a bad switch...check for fuses for traction control....clean the switch with electrical contact cleaner (pep boys, autozone, etc) before you replace the switch. It's an old car and the switch could be dirty.... or broken. Not many other things could make that happen...traction control is good to have on in a big car like that anyway. Hope this helps
