There is a engine knocking when car is in drive. If i am driving i can put it in N to stop the knocking. i was informed that i have 2 bad spark plugs or cylinders would that cause the knocking? can the engine be rebuilt if the 2 cylinders are damaged?

It does not mean the engine needs to be rebuilt. The engine could be misfiring under a load. It could be a bad wire or coil or a fouled spark plug. These repairs can be made without having to rebuild the engine.
