code 1145 .... how to fix it from comming up ... went on a 10 hower trip... did not come up... driving to store and church it comes on!

Hello, You have variable valve timing on your engine, which allows for optimal airflow into the engine at all engine speeds for better performance and fuel economy. The variable valve timing is controlled by a solenoid/valve, and that may be the cause of the issue. It may also be that the engine control module is not able to recognize the camshaft angle due to dirty oil or a bad camshaft position sensor. I recommend having the vehicle connected to a professional scan tool to actuate the solenoid and measure the camshaft angle at the same time with the engine running.
