New battery new alternator. Car lights flicker cars loses power. Then shuts off

Mine is having the same issue . I have also switched out alternators and I'm on my 3rd one now. It's been working ok for about 2 days. until tonight now all of a sudden. A mile down the road lights started flickering inside and out and then when I pressed the gas the rpms stayed the same maybe even lowered and then. My car shut off . Two other times after I jump started it after driving without revving it eventually the car got power back . But if I stop like at a gas station and let it sit in park . After about 5 mins it would shut off ...............................have you found anything else out about it??? Anyone have any suggestions. I've also been told so.et hi king about it possibly needs a new computer chip . Which on Ebay is 150.00 not sure though .... need help any suggestions (edit)

Do not look at a "computer chip" as this is not your problem and will only cause more troubles for you.
The charging system is at fault, whether it be a source of alternators that is resulting in repeated failures, or perhaps a wiring issue at the connector to the alternator. Check the connector - is it damaged or burned in any way? I would be carefully inspecting wiring.
