What is your question?
Just got a iPhone 16 and car wont connect to my phone. This is not a need to download iTunes problem as the car only says iPod is not connected. iTunes issue told me “there is no song”. I’m fine with getting a Bluetooth adaptor as well but the only thing to play music is the usb port so I can’t use any adaptor with more than a usb port
How long has your 2012 INFINITI G37 had this problem?
Ever since I got this new phone. Had a iPhone 13 before but never experienced problems.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Ah, the classic tale of new tech meeting old tech—it's like trying to play a vinyl record on a CD player. Your 2012 INFINITI G37 might be having a hard time keeping up with the iPhone 16's latest and greatest. If the USB port isn't recognizing your phone, it could be a compatibility issue. A Bluetooth adapter is a good workaround, but since your car only has a USB port, look for a Bluetooth receiver that plugs into the auxiliary input, if available, or a USB Bluetooth adapter that supports audio streaming. It's like giving your car a tech upgrade without the dealership price tag.
