My car get heat in traffic when i open AC. If i close AC it get in normal temp.

When i stuck in traffic the car get over heat. If i switch off AC it get in normal temperature. I change thermoster and fan but still this problem is there. The rediator is good the water remain full. So what is the actual problem? Why get over heat with AC only
What makes this problem better or worse?
The engine get heat when in traffic i on AC. When it close then immediately temperature becom fine. The car get heat if AC is on in traffic.
