It sounds like you are describing the "security" warning light. Is that correct? Have you owned this car for a while, or did you just purchase it? Has the battery died, been disconnected and/or been jump started recently? This can cause the security computer to need to be re-activated/programmed. It's possible that the battery in the remote/key is failing and needs to be replaced or the key or ignition may be worn...or a wiring or computer module may need to be repaired or re-programmed. Have you had any aftermarket alarms, stereos, car starter, etc. installed recently? Aftermarket electronics are common for causing problems with factory security systems. These types of security problems can be very difficult to diagnose. I would recommend having a qualified independent shop or an Infinity dealer perform the proper diagnostic tests to determine what needs to be repaired.
