What is your question?
At about 61,000 miles, my instrument cluster started going out. Initially, only the guages and lights on them went out. It goes off and comes back on sporadically. However, lately I've noticed that the engine is revving around 2000 rpm's when I start the car. After trying to choke it out for a few minutes, if I can get it to idle at normal rpm's, I don't lose the instrument panel. However, if I can't get the rpm's down, the instrument panel goes out. Also, as I am driving I will lose it as well. When this happens, when I turn the car off, it sounds like it is running very fast. This all began happening at 1000 miles after my warranty expired. Does anyone have an idea of what is going on with my car and what I can do to fix it?

Sounds like you have at least 2 problems 1 -> the instrument cluster is failing and/or malfunctioning. It is actually a computer so it needs to be scanned and diagnosed. 1 -> do you have a Check Engine Light or Service Engine Soon Light on? http://repairpal.com/check-engine-light This may help you Diagnoses your idle problem which may or may not be related to the instrument cluster, though you do say they seem to act in accordance with each other. The fast idle problem can be caused by the Idle System or even by a lack of communication with the other computers in the car, of which there are several. Really need to have a skilled Diagnostic person dig into this and solve the issues.
