I’ve been having issues with my 2003 Infiniti G 35 starting it just intermittently stops working so I swapped the battery made sure that my connections were clean and tight and it was still happening so I decided to go ahead and remove the starter so I can take it to AutoZone to be tested and I noticed that the cables were melted when I tried to remove the The cable to the starter the bolt completely snapped off
my question is what’s the part number or name of that cable that goes from the positive terminal of the battery down to the starter and does it connect to anything else and how do I go about removing it also do you think I’m gonna need to replace the starter as well?
