It sometimes stays on when the car is off and it drained my battery

There could be a couple of reasons that is happening...could be a problem with the actual switch itself or could be an issue with the latch...In order to know for sure you may need to do some electrical testing or possibly take the door panel apart to get a better idea what is going on...if you would like any assistance with helping in your repair, we would be more than willing to help out. We are located on 503 Lunt Avenue in Schaumburg, IL 60193, and our phone number is 847 352 2886. Feel free to give us a call to set up an appointment or if you have any questions.
spray a generous amount of wd-40 in/on the door latches..you can't see the door ajar switch because it is behind the door latch.after spraying, open and close all the doors a few times to free up the stuck switch.
Simple fix: glue a small piece of plastic, or a small washer, to the end of the switch plunger. Use epoxy or J B Weld or maybe a drop of Gorilla Glue. When you've done this, the switch will move further inward when the door is closed. Practically free, worth a try.
