The heat on the passenger side blows cold but it’s hot on the drivers side

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Your climate control system inside the vehicle consists of temperature blend door actuators that are able to adjust hot and cold independently from driver's to passenger sides. This, of course, only if you have a dual zone climate control system. It is quite normal and common for this vehicle to have a dual zone system. If the driver's side is hot and passenger side is cold, it would seem to me that one or both of the actuators (or related components) are not working properly and needs to be inspected. Alternatively, if you are desiring cold and the driver's side isn't as cold as the passenger side, the air conditioning system refrigerant charge could be low. This could make it hard to project cold air to the furthest part - the driver's vents.
