What is your question?
Code P200a. Hyundai says need new Motor Assembly VCM & does Not fall under Intake Manifold warranty or the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty I have. They claim Actuator would be covered but not VCM on Manifold. If my Manifold is covered under 10 year warranty, why wouldn’t the parts of the manifold be covered? If the Manifold actuator is covered under warranty (they said) then why won’t VCM be covered? Seems like a ripoff/fraud situation. They claim intake manifold is dirty too. Maybe it only needs cleaning since they only have a generic code? 76,000 miles on vehicle. 3 years ago trouble with no power with acceleration and they did ECM update under Warranty which they lied and said no warranty. I argued a week and it was under emissions warranty! Feel I need professional guidance and concrete proof of what is covered in writing. My manual just says manifold is covered 10 years 100,000 miles. Where is proof in writing VCM isn’t part of manifold and not covered? Proof VCM actuator is?

The quick answer to the first question: Your VCM is not a covered powertrain component under the 10/100 warranty. It is not an internally lubricated part, or base engine component, but instead an engine management component that would have emissions controls warranty at best -- and that has long since expired. It's no ripoff or fraud -- the warranty for Hyundai (and all manufacturers) specifies specific components based on categorical relationship (Powertrain. Emissions. Electrical. Chassis. Body. And so on). "Dirty" intake is another story; I'm not so sure about that and personally would attack each concern separately. Proof in writing would be with HMA (Hyundai Motors America) within their web site or with their customer assistance department. Your owners manual will specify warranty information as well.
