xm satellite radio navigation unit quit working

This will require a hands-on inspection. It's a little hard to understand but if you are saying the navi/radio can't read the gps maps it could be an issue with the head unit. Alex

Hello, I'm surprised there is no recall for this issue yet. Hyundai and Kia have had issues with their radios doing this for some time, but typically they just show the loading screen or play no sound. The one thing you can try at home is removing the negative battery cable for 15 minutes, the reconnecting the cable and securing it snugly (not overtight). If this does not resolve your issue, Hyundai may have a software update with a patch for the problem. If Hyundai is no help, replace the unit with a good aftermarket unit to resolve the issue. This will save cost, add features to your vehicle, and avoid future recurrence.
