Hyundai calls out for diamond sp II or sp III. If you want to use another brand there's a lot of choices, go into the Hyundai forums there a lot of people giving their insight on the fluid they use. Keep in mind anything other than what the manufacturer calls for would void your warranty if you have any.
Thanks very much again. I had been checking the manual for "transmission fluid"....didn't know it was also called "transaxle fluid" -- I'm not exactly mechanically-inclined. :P
I've already checked the Owner's Manual and found nothing pertaining to the type of transmission fluid my vehicle uses.
