cold and hot start problems. got new battery, just cold start almost flattens battery before starting

Hello, Is the check engine light on? Is the battery cranking slowly from the first turn when cold? Also, have you had the air filter replaced on time, and is the throttle body clean? I'm slightly concerned that the idle air control valve is not letting enough air into the engine while cold, as that problem gets better, but not completely, when the engine warms up. If the battery just cranks slowly from the first time you try, you likely just have an issue with the battery cables or battery cable end terminals. Make sure everything is clean, tight and not cracked.
