The driver side window rolls down but cannot lift, after car wash. Rest are work

If this only happens after a car wash, it sounds like there may be a problem with water getting into the door thru the window channel and shorting out the connection. Is the rubber along the bottom of the window above the door still in good shape? Does the window work properly once the door dries out? You may need to take the inside door panel off the door (several replaceable clips) in order to finally address this issue.
