Losing Power while driving and the engine light flashing... no idea what to do?

Ck Engine light flashing indicates misfiring. If the problem seems to get worse as the engine revs under load, I would suspect a failing catalytic converter. Don't run out and just buy parts yet, though. First, see if you can get the codes pulled, it would be of great help to resolve your issue. Autozone and several other parts stores will retrieve your codes for free. be sure to write them all down and let us know what you have.
