how do i replace the fuel pump cant it be don from back seet or do i need to drop the tank

you can access the fuel pump from your back seat... not much room to work with but alot easier than dropping the tank... i have the same car and i am currently dealing with my tank not venting so i have to undo my fuel pump to allow my tank to vent in order to put gas in... can't figure out what is causing this problem and ive dropped my tank several times... trust me not fun.
