To add to W.Fields - also consider your cooling fan. If you're sitting still, you need air flow to cool the radiator. If the fan does not kick on, there is no air flow.

completely didnt think about the fan lol good on you mate.

its been my experience that there could be a blockage in radiator or partially closed thermostat.
