Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! That rattle when you slow down and then accelerate sounds like it could be something loose in the suspension or exhaust. Maybe a heat shield decided it didn’t need to do its job anymore, or a bushing is starting to wear out. The fact that it gets better when you ease into the accelerator tells me it’s likely a small component rattling under a changing load. Might be nothing major, but definitely worth checking before it gets worse!
