Hello, although I cannot be sure, there are two likely possible causes for what you're experiencing. The first one is a concern with the dual zone climate control - if it is equipped with it. This is when you can adjust the passenger side temperature different than the driver side temperature. There is a little motor one each side that controls each side of the dash selecting temperature blend. If the driver side is not working properly it may allow more warm air than expected and cause a difference from the passenger side. The second possible cars is a system that might be slightly low in refrigerant. This can be due to multiple causes, such as a leak from a component that needs to be detected and repaired. If the refrigerant is slightly low, the further the cold air has to travel, the less cool it will be. The driver side is the furthest distance from the evaporator core where the cold is created and has the fan blowing through. Either way, hands-on testing is needed to figure out what's going on. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
