I was curious in using a FSC called BG 44K in my 2014 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. Is it alright to use it in the first place? If so, how effective would it be? My car is around 117K miles, so I just wanted to try and help clean out the engine a bit.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! I'm not a huge fan of fuel system cleaners in general. Most fuels have detergents in them that help keep the inside of the engine gunkless (I made that word up.) If you're bound and determined to use it, BG is a good one to use. You might see a slight improvement in MPGs or maybe it's all psychosomatic. WHO KNOWS?! The point is, consult your owners manual always and if it says go for it, give it a shot.
