Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Bad news, I do not know how to fix this. Good news, I know someone who can! First things first, is the bulb the correct bulb for the assembly? If so, it sounds like there might be an issue with the socket or wiring connection in the brake light assembly. This could be due to corrosion, a loose connection, or a faulty socket. You can start by inspecting the socket and wiring for any signs of damage or corrosion. If everything looks fine, consider replacing the socket. If the problem persists, it's best to have a professional mechanic or auto electrician diagnose and repair the issue to ensure proper functionality and safety.
