car door ajar/icon issue

What is your question?

so my car door will stay open throughout driving even if I try and pull it hard. the icon will come back on and I can hear air through the actual door. I have already checked the door lock striker plate and it seems loose enough for me to be able to move around. I have already tried and out wd40 in the actual lock and nothing has changed.

What makes this problem better or worse?

in order to get the icon off I have to push it from the outside

How long has your 2011 Hyundai Sonata had this problem?
