2009 Hyundai Sonata gls has a flashing check engine light & shakes

Kravesmith7...When the check engine light is flashing that usually indicates a severe misfire. Continuing to drive the car in this condition can cause further damage to the car. There are a few things that can possibly cause this type of symptom. Did the check engine light come on at the same time the problem started or before. I would need to plug it in to see the fault codes which will give me the information your computer sees. As soon as the computer sees something that is not within specs it turns on the check engine light to warn the driver something is wrong. It sounds like your driving it now.
