Looks like my turn signal flasher is out on my Sonata. Whre is it located and is it hard to replace?

You have to lower the left side lower trim panel to get access to the three pin flasher unit. For instructions Hyundai as a car manufacturer put a lot of free technical information and workshop manuals on line for Hyundai owners. Check out www.hmaservice.com lots of great information.
Pretty deeply up underneath the left side dash. You need to detach the hood cable and remove the crash pad to find it. Once in there, though it's just an easy replacement, plug in.

Looking from the Driver Floor, on the same left wall as the Hood Release, at the VERY top right there is the "FLASHER UNIT" relay. Despite what the service manual says, you can see it with a flashlight at the very top right without removing any panels.

thanks! That helps alot ! Not even the Hyundai dealer knew what was wrong...then the thought struck me that none of the flashers worked...dah flasher unit !
