All three brake lights stays on when headlights are on.

What is your question?

Just noticed today that when I turn on my headlights the three brake lights stays on. But, a few weeks ago I tried using the cruise control while headlights were on and it wouldn't work. So brake lights issue has been going on for a while. Could the repair be as simple as replacing the brake light switch under the brake pedal?
