worse when not on gas petal or turning

It could be many things, unfortunately and without experiencing the problem first hand or being able to do some basic diagnostic tests its hard to say. I would first inspect the tires look for tire damage, thread damage, rim damage, perhaps jack up the car and properly support the car, spin the tires and see if they spin true and balanced. See if there is play in the suspension or steering joints, look for unusual tire wear. Check the engine mounts, check the axle joints inner and outer joints for play. Hyundai as a car manufacturer put a lot of free technical information and workshop manuals on line for Hyundai owners. Check out www.hmaservice.com lots of great information.
