after reading the code, it shows a p0320 sensor problem.{ engine rpm Is this a difficult and expensive repair? we reset it once and it later came back on. thank you.

This is typically a problem with the crank shaft sensor or the wiring going to it. I would start by inspecting the crank shaft sensor wiring and if that looks ok, then replacing the crank shaft sensor itself, clearing the code and then driving the car. When this codes is set, often the car will die, misfire or be hard to start. Are you experiencing any of those types of problems? I don't know which engine that you have, but on the 4 cylinder engine it takes about 1.5 hours to to. I usually have to remove the crankshaft pulley, so be careful!
