The sensor is located at the crankshaft sprocket inside the timing cover at the front of the engine behind the crankshaft pulley that drives the fan belt on the 2.4L Hyundia engine which is a big job to replace. I believe it is at the rear of the engine flywheel side on the 2.7L and takes about .5 hour to replace.
