starting, back firing

What is your question?

When I turn the key the first time.It will turn over but not crank, but when I try the second time it will cranks.It slightly back fires ,but not all the time. It does not matter if it's cold or hot. I changed the spark plugs, and it's the same thing. The problem started when I had the engine cleaned.The is not giving a code.
