What is your question?
Traveled 5 hours in 85+ degree sunny weather. Just a couple hours into the drive, it felt like the air conditioner wasn't working. We shut it off, and when we turned it on after maybe 15 minutes, it worked normally, but shut off again 50 miles later. This time, shutting it off and back on later didn't work. Is there anything we can do, in . the absence of a Hyundai dealership? Taking the car to a non-Hyundai shop would invalidate the warranty, but we still have 4 hours or so to get home tomorrow.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Don't know; weather outside was very hot
How long has your 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe had this problem?
Just today

You can absolutely have the vehicle repaired by establishments other than the dealer without voiding / “invalidating” the warranty - it’s Federal Law ! However you will likely have to pay this facility for the repairs and hash it out with the manufacture later for reimbursement.
This was established in the Magnuson Moss Act - 1975. It is unlikely we can assist any further as far as any diy repair. Good luck!
