my doors open and lock repeatedly when I approach car with key fob

What is your question?

Usually happens first thing in morning and when car is cold. It stops usually later in the day. When I try to lock or unlock the doors by touching the door handle it will start locking and unlocking continuously until I step in and open the door. I will have the key fob in my purse.

What makes this problem better or worse?
