No matter what selection ( dash vent, defrost, floor vent, etc) sometimes the air will stop flowing, even though i can hear the blower fan working. This happens mostly when the cabin temp is set to lower setting. Sometimes starts working again after an hour or so of driving. Most often happens when driving on the highway. Usually starts working again after parking the car for a while.

Hello, since the concern happens mostly when the cabin temperature is set to a low temperature - such as with air conditioning system functioning, I'm wondering if the concern could be that the evaporator core could be icing up from a compressor that persists to create cold liquid, even when it should be cycling off. If the evaporator ices over, air flow becomes restricted. This can happen due to a cycling switch or even compressor coil issue. This is merely a guess -- I've seen it with a different vehicle, so it's not impossible. Testing when the problem occurs will yield the answer.
Also possible A/C condensation drain tube is clogged and water is compromising air flow from blower.
