What is your question?
dealer said it was battery. Purchased brand new battery and it was a waste of money. Old battery was good. Car would not start the next day. Two other mechanics worked on it to no avail. Once car was jump started it would run for a day. Car is still dead in drive way. This has been going on for six months. Car only has 48,000 miles. Not reliable. Why can't this problem be fixed already? Shouldn't Hyundai mechanics know how to find a fix a problem?

Yes they should know how to find and repair the problem! .. Key word is "should"... It has got to be a pretty heavy parasitic load on the battery when parked overnight.. Surely Hyundai dealer mechanics have done the test for that, however in their defense, parasitic loads 'can' be difficult to pinpoint .. It's certainly doable though! .. Make sure it not something obvious like some sort of light staying on or other accessories & equipment draining battery.
There is no light staying on and I shut off radio, heater etc. and the car still would not start without having to jump start it. Because of problem can't take the car anywhere due to the fact that it may not start and will be stranded.
Since you posted it has been checked out.. I don't feel the need to post all the 'basic' test that have surely been done already, by even a rookie in the auto repair business.. Parasitic load test suggested.. Good luck with it!
