My air conditioning compressor pulley is going bad. I've hear u can not bypass the pulley to slope replacing the whole compressor but now I'm hearing you can bypass it

Should we just guess at which engine it has in it?... Yeah, it makes a difference!!
You can bypass it. Find a shorter belt that will turn the other components and not the AC.
3.5 v6
I'm pretty sure this engine has a seperate belt for the Alternator and the A/C compressor...I suppose there might be a belt that will work for by-pass... Good luck with that!!!!.... There is a chance the compressor has an internal problem and is causing the pulley to appear to be the culprit... **Unplug compressor electrical connector** and see if it helps as this will keep the clutch from engaging the actual compressor but leave the pulley for the belt to rotate freely!!... (Possible)
