why does the a/c compressor keep freezing up breaking

Incorrect installition proceedure.. improper oil charge, debris from failed compressor(s) or other contaminants in system.. Failure to follow installition instructions for compressor and other components necessary for a successful repair is the most likely cause! .. Can't just stick a compressor on it and expect it to operate correctly!!
