Hello, RepairPal is a web site where you can find a certified repair shop near you -- which are still independently owned and operated, but certified with certain benefits. Go to the "FIND A SHOP" link at the top of the page to find shops near you who can let you know if they can work on it and for what cost. In my experience, audio units and CD players require automotive audio specialists who have the required special tools and information to remove and disassemble audio units. This may not be listed on RepairPal's "Find a Shop" tool, as it's a specialty. However, a shop near you can probably refer you. Good luck!
It can be removed but you’ll still need to find skilled personnel to do so.. Many times the disc can be removed without unit removal.. Best not try it yourself though. Good luck!
