When coming to a slow stop, my brakes have a grinding noise. It occurs sporatically. I have a anti-lock braking system. The noise is very loud and actually "scares" me.

does it sound like a ratcheting sound? maybe a metal on metal sound?
No, just grinding. It just it 5 min. ago, twice, which is not usual.
