What is your question?
I have a 2012 Hyundai Genesis R Spec with 115,000 miles and the Dealer tells me I don't need to replace the Timing Belt? Consumers Report has an article stating typical Timing Belt Replacement should be at 100,000 miles. When should it be cahaned?
What makes this problem better or worse?
No issue yet but I hope to get another 100K miles plus and don't want the engine ruined by the Timing Belt going out.
How long has your 2012 Hyundai Genesis had this problem?
NA

Hello, if you have the 4.6L or 5.0L engine in your Genesis, then you have a timing chain, not a belt. Therefore, no maintenance is needed.
Between the coupe and sedan the Genesis has 5 engines. All of them have timing chains so you only need to worry about them if you are getting noise or possible getting codes for the cam or crank shaft
