This needs hands on troubleshooting, plain and simple. Compressor failures will fail to raise or vent the vehicle properly. This does not appear to be what is happening here. I would be focusing on the individual air springs and checking for any chassis related diagnostic trouble codes that could be related to an individual strut not operating properly.
