When my father passed last year I have not removed him from the title yet, the bank pay off the car but they sent the title to the old family home and not my address. I'm not sure what to do as I have not been able to get it inspected or new registration needed. Along with several recall that I have received for the car for safety issues.

However, this is really a question for your state department of Motor Vehicles to best be able to guide you. The rules and process around this type of thing vary from state to state. I would reach out to them and see what they advise. If you are also on the title, there should be a way to have him removed and a new copy of the title sent to your current address. Good luck!
