I have seen it as 1-3-4-2 but when I swapped the ignition coils because I suspect I have a bad one the codes doesn't swap with how it's stated the firing order to be. I first swapped 1 with 2 because I was getting a P0301 and the code came as a P0304, then swapped 2 with 4 and code came as P0303 and then swapped 4 with 3 and code came as P0302. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1-3-4-2 is accurate. But, that has nothing to do with swapping coils. You still have 1-2-3-4 cylinders in order, and so if you thought you were swapping 1 with 2, you were actually swapping 1 with 4.
