What is your question?
My oil light has just started flickering. It will never consistently be on. It only start flickering when the engine is warmed all the way, it will also turn on only when doing a hard brake. It also started stalling when the light comes on a few times, the engine will shut off but everything else will still be on and it will start back up. I’ve checked the oil and it looks fine, I’m not car savvy AT ALL. I plan on taking it in to have a look, any idea what this means? I’m afraid to add more oil.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Braking, idle, or engine warmed up

Hello, your oil light will flicker when there is a signal indicating low oil pressure inside the engine. This can be because there is an oil pressure issue for real, or you could have a wiring or sensor issue providing faulty information. The best thing to do is to have your oil pressure checked authentically with a manual gauge to determine if there is an actual mechanical issue, or if there is in fact a gauge, sending unit or wiring issue. This just started happening to my Elantra as well. Did you figure out what was causing your issue?
