What is causing my car to make knocking sound?

It's your lifters. My moms car (02') auto. Got louder and louder then it blew up. 300 bucks for a used one with 48,k miles on it. It's not gonna go away with any knocking quieting and seals leaks from Advanced or Autozone. I put 500 just in oil treatment honey. Worthless! But it's your lifters in the motor.
