When I start my car, it seems slow to start, like the battery is drained.

Not sure if it's coincidental, but it starts when I give it gas. Going to stop by Advance and see if they can tell me if its my battery, but if it is, couldn't it just as likely be my alternator? What about the starter? Also, the Explorer and Elantra both squeal when they start - the Explorer when it first starts, and the Elantra once you start to drive it, but only for a minute or so. Some kind of belt? Thanks!
