Heated mirrors not working

What is your question?

I bought a 2010 Hyundai Elantra GL and was told everything is working. On the first frost I put on my rear defroster and my mirrors did not defrost. I talked with the dealership and was told the mirrors should defrost when the rear defroster is on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
