check engine light is blinking

Stop driving your car, and have it towed to a service facility a.s.a.p. for diagnosis and repair. By driving it further in that condition, you risk expensive engine damage.

Likely a misfire indication. Pull the plugs, if they look fouled, change them and the problem should disappear.
