My check engine light came on- codes P2195 and P0170. What does this mean?

P2195 code refers to FUEL MIXTURE REPORTED LEAN BANK 1 SENSOR 1. The pcm did not deliver enough fuel for the amount of air that entered the engine during a specific monitored engine combustion cycle. Problem could be a vacuum leak, or bad sensor [o2 , maf ]or a bad fuel injector or low fuel pressure or a wiring issue or a bad pcm to name a few things. A scan tool that can provide live or recorded data would be most helpful. Also "freeze frame" data may provide a diagnostic direction by pinpointing the specific operating conditions that existed at the time of failure.For instance; if the "F F" data shows a failure of this nature at idle or low load low rpm I would suspect a vacuum leak. If the failure occurred at high load then I might suspect a maf sensor. Take a look under the hood. A visual inspection may uncover a cracked/ loose/ broken/ vacuum hose. Check the electrical wires going to the front o2 sensor. A wire may have chaffed and shorted, or maybe a wire melted to the exhaust or possibly the wire fell off the o2 sensor. The o2 sensor may have become "stuck" in the lean condition. Fuel pressure must be checked. Best left to a pro. this fuel pressure test. It may be beneficial to have a knowledgeable, licensed mechanic scan the on board pcm for info. Usually the more info. the better. A few $$$ spent here may prove to be a wise investment.
